Let it Glow: a Facial Oil Edit

New addition to my skincare routine: facial oils. I've just started using it earlier this year because I believed, probably like a lot of you, it was inappropriate for oily skin types. Not only are they good for all skin types, but also every skin type can benefit from an oil whether you’re someone with dry, combination, oily or aging skin - the secret is finding the right one for you.

Facial oils are capable of minimizing the look of fine lines, dark spots from sun damage and acne, besides, of course, giving your skin a beautiful and natural glow. It also improves the skin strength and firmness, it can evening out the complexion and regulates the sebum production. Convinced already? Check my top 3 favorites below. I recommend you to try and if you don't know the exact time to use/apply the oil, check the right order on our last skincare post here.

Self Care is Self Love

As the name says, this Eye of Horus Beauty' oil combines seven oils from Moringa, Abyssinian, Marula and Nigella with Hemp, Pomegranate and Baobab. It boosts collagen production and fights against fine lines, dark spots, dryness and inflammation. 100% natural, the oil restores, hydrates and regenerates the skin.

This one is a Biossance classic and it's famous for the Vitamin C component: a potent brightener and elasticity booster. Luxuriously lightweight, the oil instantly hydrates and protects the skin from moisture loss. It has a very light and natural rose scent and leaves the skin with a healthy radiant glow.

With vitamins E and A as well as anti-inflammatory properties, this sophisticated facial oil improves hydration and promotes a radiant glow. It's very lightweight and concentrated with antioxidants, omega 6 and linoleic acid that help soothe and nourish the skin.

Have you tried any of these? I prefer using the multi-purposed oils like the Divine Oil by Caudalie and the Huile Prodigieuse by NUXE on the body. And for the hair, as mentioned here before, my favorite is the 100% Plant-Derived Hemi-Squalane from The Ordinary.
