From the Venice Film Festival 2020 diaries, Cate Blanchett by Greg Williams

We love a behind the scenes and British photographer, Greg Williams knows how to get the best (mood and shot) from the Hollywood stars... impossible not agree seeing all these black and white photos of the film festival jury president (again!), actress Cate Blanchett.

“Venice is, to my mind, the most glamorous of all the film festivals, and this year, it will be the only major, non-virtual, festival,” says the photographer in a interview for Vogue. “It felt like the clouds finally opened for a couple of weeks.”

La Biennale opened the doors on September 2nd and it was the first international festival to take place in real life since the start of the pandemic.

As Giorgio Armani global beauty ambassador, Cate was looking dazzling wearing the brand's full makeup even with a face mask on. She had a little help from her longtime makeup artist, Mary Greenwell that explained to Vanity Fair all the products they used and why... (read it here)

The actress decided to re-wear some of her most cherished looks at the red carpet making a statement for sustainable fashion and we love it!!
In addition to promoting sustainability, Blanchett also donated all of the outfits she wore at the #Venezia77 to an auction runned by Chic Relief, a non-profit organization created by her stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

Oh.. how I miss the movie stars and their red carpet fabulous moments! You?
Well, this year Venice Film Festival was small - less people and more face masks - but still worth stoping to watch.
