DUNE, but can we talk about Zendaya's wardrobe first?

So after almost 2 years of patiently wanting, Dune - the new Denis Villeneuve movie - is out! And even better, a "Part 2" is set to be released on October 2023... but before posting a review here (yes, I've already watched it a couple of times) I believe a statement about Zendaya's premiere looks is at least required.

The actress plays Chani, a Fremen warrior from Arrakis, and during the special screenings and festivals  promoting the movie she dazzled us on the red carpet wearing stunning outfits - thanks to her longtime stylist and image architect: Law Roach!

Yes, her Celebrity Stylist deserves all the credits here. I've been talking about this important job role in the fashion and cinema business here before, Zendaya's looks have a reason and a meaning and everything was carefully chosen for her - to create the perfect image. Well, enough talking, let's check them all out:

The actress wore Valentino Couture while attending Dune's photocall at the Venice Film Festival. She rocked an oversized black tuxedo jacket over a white maxi-length shirtdress, black Christian Louboutin pumps and small silver hoops.

The dress featured a plunging neckline, a hip-high slit, and a pink satin tie looped at the midsection that ran the length of the dress.

For the world premiere of the movie, later in the same day, Zendaya came out to the red carpet in a wet-look Balmain gown with a thigh-high slit. According to the brand's Instagram, “The bespoke leather gown was crafted using an exact model of the star’ bust, taking full advantage of the Balmain atelier and the house’s artisanal tradition.” - meaning: the dress was actually made from flesh-toned leather handcrafted to her form!

Nude Christian Louboutin ‘So Kate’ pumps and the most stunning 93-carat emerald Bvlgari necklace from the Magnifica collection completed her look.

At night, Zendaya celebrated her 25th birthday wearing a Valentino Haute Couture chocolate organza and moiré faille puffed shorts combination at a dinner hosted by the Maison in her honor.

She was joined by her stylist Law Roach, Dune's costar Timothée Chalamet, Valentino’s creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli, and others from the fashion house.

From Venice to Paris... Look at this view!

For the photocall, Zendaya opted for a structured shirt dress and thigh-high boots from the Bottega Veneta Fall 2021Ready-To-Wear collection.

And for the Parisian premiere, the actress appeared in a knit, oxblood, long-sleeve crop top and a matching tapered skirt with a feathered fishtail from Pieter Mulier’s debut collection for Alaïa.

Finishing 'Dune' press tour, cast and crew landed in London!

To start, Zendaya opted for a more casual style: she paired a billowing, floor-length Peter Do button-down with form-fitting black pants, creating a chic and effortless look. Bulgari jewelry completed the outfit, which was also styled by Roach.

At the photocall, she wore a chained bodice top from Andreas Kronthaler's Spring 2020 Vivienne Westwood collection.

Impossible not to mention Chalamet custom bold, mushroom printed suit from Stella McCartney Summer 2022 collection.

For the online interviews, while Timmy kept his suit on, Zendaya made a new outfit change (of course!): a Riccardo Tisci creation for Burberry Spring 2022 ready-to-wear collection. We love it too!

It was all about sci-fi with the last gown choice for the last premiere that happened in big style at London's Leicester Sq.

Zendaya and stylist Law Roach fully embraced the genre at the premiere of the film when the actress  appeared on the red carpet wearing a stunning futurist look: a sequined asymmetrical Rick Owens white column gown from fall 2021 ready-to-wear collection.

Last but not least, at the screening's after-party, she wore a custom maroon dress by Nensi Dojaka...

Wow! Now what? I guess she deserves some (stylish) vacation time... Meanwhile, we'll wait for 'Dune, Part 2' premiere and the red carpet dresses that will follow!
