Paris Fashion Week may be about the runway, but fashion in Paris never really stops at the venue. It continues over coffee at a Left Bank café, through the boutiques of the Marais, along Rue Saint-Honoré, inside a beautifully designed hotel lobby, and over a late dinner when the city finally slows down.
With Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 wrapping up today, October 6, after a week of shows, presentations and fashion moments across the city, I have Paris on my mind — and, more specifically, where I would stay if fashion were part of the itinerary.
For a fashion lover, location, interiors, atmosphere and proximity to the places you actually want to see can matter just as much as the room itself.
These are seven Paris hotels I would put on the shortlist.
1. Le Bristol Paris
For: classic Parisian glamour, old-world elegance and a serious fashion address
112 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré: Few addresses feel as unmistakably Parisian as Le Bristol Paris. Located on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, one of the city's most important luxury shopping streets, the hotel places you within easy reach of some of Paris's most coveted fashion and jewelry houses.
Le Bristol has that rare quality of feeling both grand and intimate: Louis XVI-inspired interiors, beautiful fabrics, an iconic garden and the hotel's famously elegant atmosphere. Vogue included Le Bristol among its best hotels in Paris for 2026, highlighting its distinctive Parisian elegance and family-owned heritage.
For a fashion lover, this is the kind of hotel where the hotel itself becomes part of the wardrobe moodboard. Think silk scarves, structured tailoring, oversized sunglasses and a very good pair of shoes.
Fashion mood: Parisian grande dame.
2. Hôtel Costes
For: the fashion crowd, people-watching and that effortlessly cool Paris feeling
239 Rue Saint-Honoré: If Le Bristol represents the polished side of Parisian luxury, Hôtel Costes is its cooler, more magnetic counterpart. Located on Rue Saint-Honoré, it is perfectly positioned for a day of fashion, shopping and wandering through the heart of the 1st arrondissement.
Costes has long had a reputation as one of those Paris addresses where fashion, music, design and celebrity culture naturally overlap. Even without staying overnight, the hotel is an experience — particularly its famous restaurant and courtyard.
For someone visiting Paris with a fashion itinerary, this is less about checking into a hotel and more about being in the middle of the Paris fashion conversation.
Fashion mood: French-girl cool with a little mystery.
3. Le Meurice
For: art, fashion and historic Parisian glamour
228 Rue de Rivoli: Across from the Tuileries, between the Louvre and Place de la Concorde, Le Meurice occupies one of the most enviable locations in Paris, and the setting is only the beginning.
This historic palace hotel has long attracted artists, creatives and cultural figures, and its interiors carry that same connection between luxury and art. Time Out's 2026 Paris hotel guide describes Le Meurice as one of the city's defining luxury hotels, noting its long history and associations with figures including Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso.
For fashion lovers, the location is particularly compelling. You can walk from the hotel through the Tuileries, continue toward Place Vendôme, wander through the Palais Royal, and reach some of the city's most important fashion addresses without constantly getting into a taxi.
Fashion mood: couture meets art history. Book your stay.
4. Hôtel Providence
For: a more intimate, cinematic side of Paris
90 Rue René Boulanger: Not every fashion trip needs to revolve around palace hotels.
Hôtel Providence offers something completely different: a smaller, more intimate Paris experience in the 10th arrondissement. Its personality is part of the attraction — richly decorated interiors, a distinctly Parisian atmosphere and the feeling of discovering a hotel that belongs to the city rather than existing separately from it.
This is a particularly good choice for travelers who prefer boutique Paris over traditional palace Paris.
The surrounding neighborhood also makes it easier to experience a different rhythm of the city, away from the most polished luxury-shopping streets.
Fashion mood: Parisian cinema, vintage details and effortless individuality.
5. Maison Souquet
For: maximalist interiors and a more seductive Paris
10 Rue de Bruxelles: Tucked away near Pigalle, Maison Souquet, Hotel & Spa is for the traveler who wants their hotel to feel like part of the fantasy. Dark, intimate and unapologetically theatrical, the interiors are worlds away from minimalist luxury.
For fashion lovers, this is exactly the point. Parisian style isn't only beige trench coats and perfectly pressed shirts. It can also be velvet, jewel tones, dramatic lighting, vintage references and a little bit of mystery.
Maison Souquet gives you a completely different visual language for Paris — one that feels particularly fitting after dark. Book your stay.
Fashion mood: Paris after midnight.
6. Hôtel Adèle & Jules
For: boutique charm and a more personal Paris
2 & 4 bis Cité Rougemont: For a fashion trip that isn't entirely about being seen, Hôtel Adèle & Jules is a charming alternative. This boutique hotel sits in a quieter pocket of the 9th arrondissement, giving you a more residential-feeling base while keeping you within reach of some of central Paris's best shopping, cafés and cultural addresses.
My latest stay
It is the kind of place I would choose for a trip where the itinerary includes wandering as much as shopping. Because one of my favorite things about Paris is leaving the main boulevard and discovering what happens one street over.
Fashion mood: understated Parisian charm. Book your stay.
7. Le Pavillon de la Reine
For: discreet luxury in the Marais
28 Place des Vosges: And then there is Le Pavillon de la Reine. Hidden behind its famous ivy-covered façade on Place des Vosges, this boutique hotel feels more like a private Parisian residence than a conventional luxury hotel.
Its location is especially appealing for fashion lovers who want to explore the Marais — one of the city's most interesting neighborhoods for independent boutiques, galleries, vintage shopping, cafés and emerging designers.
Time Out named Le Pavillon de la Reine its best boutique hotel in Paris for 2026, praising its secluded setting and its position in the heart of the Marais. This is Paris at its most discreet.
Fashion mood: quiet luxury, Marais edition. Book your stay.
So, Which Paris Hotel Is Right for You?
The answer depends on the version of Paris you want to experience.
- For classic luxury: Le Bristol Paris
- For fashion-world energy: Hôtel Costes
- For art + fashion: Le Meurice
- For boutique character: Hôtel Providence
- For a dramatic stay: Maison Souquet
- For intimate Parisian charm: Hôtel Adèle & Jules
- For discreet Marais luxury: Le Pavillon de la Reine
Choosing a hotel in Paris can be so overwhelming, the city has an enormous number of beautiful places to stay, but the right neighborhood can completely change your trip. A hotel near Rue Saint-Honoré creates a very different experience from one in the Marais, Saint-Germain or Pigalle, and that is why I always think beyond the room.
Think about the streets you want to walk.
The cafés you want to return to.
The boutiques you want to browse.
The museums you want to visit.
And the Paris you want to wake up to.
