Christmas Day was the perfect day to walk in the park, especially because our hotel was so close to Hyde Park - which offers a refreshing escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. As one of the most famous Royal Parks, Hyde Park boasts over 350 acres of lush greenery, tranquil lakes, and iconic landmarks.
We walked through the Park, starting in Kensington Gardens and finishing at the majestic Royal Albert Hall, exploring scenic paths, hidden gems, and London’s natural beauty.

Whether you’re a tourist or a local, a day walk here is the perfect way to reconnect with nature while exploring a historic part of London.
As I neared the end of my walk, the grandeur of the Royal Albert Hall came into view. Its red-brick façade and domed roof are instantly recognizable. This iconic concert venue, named after Queen Victoria’s beloved Prince Albert, stands as a tribute to the arts and music.
Just across from it is the Albert Memorial, an ornate statue surrounded by elaborate detailing—don’t miss it. It’s a photo-worthy spot and a peaceful place to end your walk.
The day was freezing, but it totally worth it.
