Nearly a decade after its publication, The Big Tease, photographed by Mario Testino for Vogue US (November 2015), still feels as captivating today as it did the day it first appeared in print. Having recently spent so many summer mornings and evenings rediscovering the city myself—from peaceful walks along the Atlantic in Foz to discovering hidden gems like A Pérgola da Foz, where I photographed one of my favorite summer looks—I found myself looking at this editorial through completely different eyes. Rather than simply admiring beautiful images, I recognized the city that has become one of my greatest sources of inspiration this season.

The colourful façades, historic streets, elegant architecture, vintage trams and dramatic Atlantic coastline create the perfect backdrop for a story that feels relaxed, romantic and undeniably European. Mario Testino allows Porto's character to shine without ever competing with the fashion itself—a balance that makes the editorial feel timeless.
It's a reminder that some of the world's most beautiful fashion stories don't need exotic destinations. Sometimes, the perfect setting has been quietly waiting along Portugal's northern coast all along.
