Creating Art & Sharing Love Since 2009

It's beginning to look a lot like...

Yes, I know you know! Christmas is coming and it's time to get your home (and your spirit) ready... You may also already know it’s my favorite time of the year so decorating is easy - and one of the best parts of the holidays (for me).

I have to confess, after everything I'm going through this year, I'm not excited for Christmas and unfortunately we're not decorating the house, but King of Christmas just sent me one of the most gorgeous tree I've ever seen so it make me wanna share this little piece with you. By the way, King of Christmas offers the highest quality lifelike Christmas trees and decor available today at an affordable price.

Christmas decor style may vary from each person, some would want to keep it simple while others would want to go all out. Plus, every year there are a lot of new and very appealing ornaments to shop and you must wonder, is there a simple, affordable and easy way to achieve that cool home decor designer look without spending too much?

Read below, my top 5 Christmas decorating tips to make your home cozy and warm for the holidays.

Wreaths & Garlands

Start small and from the outside-in hanging a beautiful evergreen wreath on the front door. You can’t go wrong with greenery, whether it is fresh or faux and even if you change your theme up and decide to do different color themes every year, greenery is neutral enough to go with any style.

King of Christmas' pre-lit with 50 warm-white LED lights, battery operated and has a built-in automatic timer 6 hours on 18 hours off. The King Flock Wreath is perfect to hang on doors, walls, or by the fireplace mantel. The king flock wreath is a sure way to complete your holiday home decor that's only fit for a king (and a queen).

Garlands are not just for mantels or stairways, they can elevate your decor when added around your front door and furniture from your hallway for example, on a entry table and around a wall mirror.

The Christmas tree

Decorating the tree is one of my favorite traditions and I totally believe the tree is the centre of any Christmas design, not forgetting to mention the best Holiday memories are born as the family gathers around the Christmas tree.

King of Christmas Trees are renowned for their robust construction and long-lasting performance. These trees are made with high-quality materials and are crafted with precision to ensure that they maintain their shape and appearance for years to come. Also, these trees come with user-friendly instructions and are designed to be simple to set up and take down, making the entire decorating process a breeze. Moreover, these trees are versatile enough to accommodate a range of decorations, from classic strings of lights to elaborate baubles and ornaments.

We can use ornaments that are homemade to decorate the tree. We can make pastoral ornaments of stars, tress and you could also, of course, make some handmade ornaments with your kids as a Christmas fun activity. Don't forget to wrap a garland around the tree: this is a great opportunity to add a pop of color or texture to it.

Pillows And Throws

Baby, it's cold outside... let's get cozy! Remember, when decorating comfort is just as much important as aesthetics. According to Studio McGee, you might "consider storing your throws in easy-to-reach solutions like a basket or folding your throws and placing them in any open storage nooks. It’s functional, it’s inviting, and the textiles add a little softness and warmth" to the space.

Incorporating pillows in your holiday palette can also tie in the room and bring in the holiday cheer + the cozy vibes! Consider adding the accessory not only in your living room, but also in the bedrooms and your home's entry way.

Use candles

A cozy scent with a warm blanket draped over a couch, a hot chocolate and a Christmas movie... is it too much to ask?

Besides representing the Star of Bethlehem, guiding the Magi to the stable where Jesus was born, a lit candle helps fill the empty spaces together with greenery and small ornaments.

I'm currently obsessed with REPLICA by Maison Margiela home fragrances. From diffusers to scented candles, their collection invites us to diffuse or reignite our favorite memories at home. For example, the Winter Stroll candle evokes a peaceful walk through the winter forest at dusk. Fresh footprints in the snow lead to an illuminated cabin in the distance.

You may also diffuse the cozy and heartwarming atmosphere of a winter evening by the chimney with By the Fireplace diffuser. It will fill your home with the addictive and wintery scent of wood and chestnuts grilling in the chimney. It unlocks the memory of a cozy winter evening by the chimney. The atmosphere created by this diffuser is warm and comforting bringing a reassuring sensation peacefulness.

Christmas stockings

A little detail goes a long way, right? Last but not least, we can't forget the stockings to style your mantel. For an eclectic look, we can mix them up - hanging different sizes and shapes together. Keep in mind stockings were NOT just meant for fireplace mantels and for kids to open up on Christmas mornings, they are able to change the room completely adding warmth and helping it get more personalized.

You can also try to hang them all over the house: on knobs of a pie safe, on hutches, and on the banister. They look really pretty hung on the end of the bed, or outside on a door.
