New fragrances for the New season

Original article created for WOTC Magazine

I believe the right fragrance can define a personal style. Your scent also leaves a message about who you are and the things you like. Therefore it is so important to choose the right perfume - the one that people will remember you by. I also believe we may have more than one signature scent, at least one for each season, once there are elements and key notes in every perfume composition that will blend perfectly with the occasional weather. Come take a look at our list of some new and some classic fragrances that can evoke the moody, cozy and fuzzy Autumn feeling.

Maison Margiela 'REPLICA' Autumn Vibes

The name says it all. Thanks to woody notes of cedar, moss and fir, the new Maison Margiela fragrance will take you for a walk in the park on a beautiful autumn afternoon.

Yves Saint Laurent Libre Le Parfum Intense

An option for the Libre lovers, it kept the fresh scent of orange blossom from the summer fragrance and added a few warmer components like vanilla bourbon pure jungle essence from Madagascar. Exotic and sexy to heat up the colder months.

Tory Burch Essence of Dreams Cosmic Wood Eau de Parfum

Spicy, lightweight and lingering. Tory Burch’s Cosmic Wood combines spicy cardamom, jasmine and vetiver, a favorite of Tory's father, Buddy. The warm base is grounded by smoky wood, patchouli and sage.

Lancôme IDÔLE L’INTENSE

Idôle L’Intense encapsulates a radiant and sensual rose, accentuated by a kaleidoscope of three fresh jasmines that are wrapped in a warm musk and a sweet vanilla.

Dior J'ADORE EAU DE PARFUM INFINISSIME

Sensual, powerful and enveloping. Notes of Centifolia Rose, Sambac Jasmine, and Ylang-Ylang are refined by the woody accents of a creamy Sandalwood and shaken up by the luminous Grasse Tuberose.

LE LABO Santal 33 Eau de Parfum

Le Labo's Santal 33 combines a mix of cardamom and notes of iris and violet, which crackle in the formula. Added to this smoking wood alloy (Australian sandalwood, cedar-wood) are some spicy, leathery, musky notes, giving this perfume its signature and addictive comforting scent.

JO MALONE LONDON™ Amber & Patchouli Cologne

In collaboration with Huntsman Savile Row, this seductive Jo Malone’s cologne pairs the legendary patchouli ingredient to the tempting smokiness of guaiacwood. A suede-like finish will make you feel like drinking a spicy latte on a crispy morning outside.

TOM FORD Private Blend Vanille Fatale Eau de Parfum

Frangipani, Vanilla and Coffee Absolute. This Tom Ford’s Vanille Fatale opens with the stirring spice of saffron and coriander wrapped in smoky myrrh. It is a perfect storm of roasted coffee absolute and narcissus, which both melt into Madagascan vanilla and suede for an exotic, primal finish.

Gucci Mémoire d'une Odeur, Eau de Parfum

The Mémoire d’une Odeur is Gucci's first universal fragrance, not assigned to a gender or a time. Roman Chamomile blends its green aromatic scent with Indian Coral Jasmine, a flower known for releasing a more powerful scent at night. Musks add depth to the fragrance, while Cedarwood and Sandalwood bring intensity to its structure.

DIPTYQUE Eau Duelle Eau de Parfum

Along the spice route, Eau Duelle takes on new aromas: luminous, addictive accents of calamus and dark, smoky nuances of cypriol. Traveling through time and over borders, Bourbon vanilla from Madagascar reveals itself between darkness and light.
