Heaven on Earth

Upper East Side, July 23 / 2016

So, I just wanted to go to a favorite place here. Somewhere I could feel happy and safe, but I realize I didn't have this place here in NYC - yet. Maybe Central Park.. but wich part of it? 'Cause the park is soo big! Or maybe some museum.. but it's a saturday and it's summer - they are all full of tourists - no way!

I took an Uber to Central Park in the East side, right on the middle of it.. some festival was happening there - I thought of going but wasn't in the mood for it. So when I tried to find a Starbucks on Google Maps, I found my oasis! I mean.. a Maison Ladurée - a few blocks from where I was 😍😍😍

I couldn't believe it! And I thought.. yeah! Maybe this is my favorite place here - in this bitch crazy city. A piece of Europe in the middle of the Upper East Side - so beautiful, classic architecture style, french music, french girls speaking french... oui! Suddenly I'm happy and peacefull.

And suddenly (again) starts to play Tom Jobim on the radio..
