2023 Beauty & Skincare I'm keeping in 2024

New year, new skincare... right? No! When the skincare and beauty products we've been using are giving good results we must keep them year after year. If you want to try new ones you can just add and incorporate them on your currently beauty routine - I believe in this case, "the more is merrier".

So after testing a bunch of new skincare and beauty products last year, I have made a selection with the best of them, meaning: the ones that worked better for my skin type which is oily and aging (plus, still troubled with spots marks). These goodies are here to stay, approved and recommended.

All products were kindly gifted to be tested by me.

Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Moisturizer, from Biossance

I'm a Biossance enthusiast so I was already thrilled when I received this moisturizer to try. It has an innovative formula that instantly brightens and nourishes skin. Powered by vitamin C and fermented lemon peel, a natural alternative to leading brightening ingredients, this antioxidant-packed face cream helps fight free radicals and pollution while promoting collagen production to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I like to apply the Biossance Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil after the moisturizer as well.

Second Skin Foundation, from Eye of Horus Beauty

Eye of Horus was also on my last year's list and will always be because I truly love their products. The Second Skin Foundation was launched just a few months ago and it's a hit already. It's a forward-thinking foundation with skin benefiting actives for smooth, buildable coverage, sun protection (SPF25+) and a second-skin finish. Enriched with a phytocomplex of botanicals, amino acids and sacred ingredients, including Moringa, Abyssinian, Witch Hazel, Ectoin and Vitamin E to reduce the appearance of fine lines, brighten complexion and provide lasting hydration.

The Body Wash, from Nécessaire

Now I understand why all the fuss for Nécessaire, besides the cool minimalistic packaging (that are in fact made from 100% Eco-Material), this body wash is a gift for the skin.

A daily oil-in-gel cleanse for skin, infused with facial-grade Cacay-, Marula- and Meadowfoam oils rich in Vitamin A/C/E + Omega 6/9 and Niacinamide. The Body Wash is made to nourish, soften and balance skin. Gentle Plant Surfactants provide a luxe, soft lather. No SLS / SLES. No Silicones. No Phthalates. No Parabens.

Truffle Therapy Face Toner, from Skin & Co

An award-winning fusion of the potent Black Winter Truffle Complex combined with the revitalizing touch of Rosemary, Calendula, and Cucumber. This toning elixir gently purifies, hydrating and alleviating blemished, dull or uneven skin. With each application, the antioxidant-rich formula delves deep to clear clogged pores and combat reactive skin, revealing a brighter, healthier complexion that radiates confidence.

It stands as an essential step, seamlessly fitting between cleansing and serum application, ensuring your skin remains balanced, refreshed, and beautifully radiant.

Vegan and cruelty-free, you can use my code THERIZ___ to get 20% off entire order at Skin&Co, I also suggest you'd try the Truffle Therapy Cleansing Oil.

This multitasking and nourishing hair oil is perfect for anyone looking to detangle, moisturize, defrizz and add shine to their hair. Saffron, Pistachio and Rose are combined to give a potent boost to hair longevity. Saffron, a spice worth more than its weight in gold, is used to strengthen hair. Pistachio nourishes and moisturizes for bouncy and smooth hair. And the Rose has long been used to make hair smooth and shiny. It smells amazing, by the way!

Juicy Tubes Lip Gloss, from Lancôme

Lancôme lip gloss comes with ultra high shine and delivers what it promises: the 4-hours of lasting hydration is real. Lips feel lusciously juicy and cushioned with an ultra-glossy shine.
